excellent location at an affordable price. dont expect a Sheraton, but it has everything needed by a normal human. my room included a kitchenette so was perfect to avoid having to eat out. would stay there again for sure.
location and staff
room was somewhat noicy and heat was excessive
Good service friendly staff. Great downtown location for clubs shopping. No frills , older building but easy on the budget.
The staff at the Inn was very friendly, and the location was right in downtown which was very convenience.
It was an old building, perhaps the Inn could innovate some rooms.
The location was great, as it's right downtown in the heart of the city. And the price, particularly for that location, was awesome! The staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy. There was also cheap parking and luggage storage, which was convenient.
Our room faced Burrard St and the noise was really bad. The windows were only single pane, so it didn't keep any of the sound out and my fiancé didn't get much sleep at all. Although the price of the place was good, we wouldn't stay there for more than one night because of the sound level.
The abundance of hot water for the bath, and of course the relatively low price rates. Also, the staff were very helpful and did not use "marketing strategy" style goading to increase revenue (I am a nerd who feels very uncomfortable when targeted by any sort of marketing strategy, leading me to boycott Coca Cola and many other brands due to their intensive advertising). Last but not least, the Inn had a personal belongings deposit area that I was allowed to use even after I had checked out - this was of major importance to me, considering my situation at the time.
Most hotels I've seen provide a toothbrush and toothpaste, but I was forced to buy them from the neighbouring 7-eleven due to the lack of these items in my room.
The friendly and accomodating staff and the central location.
The very erratic and weak internet service. But I understand they're working on that. After the renovations are done, they are planning, so I was told, to upgrade the internet service.
the locatian so close for every thing,Cleanliness,Hotel staff so good and so friendly
just one thing when i was there they close the parking door so early i don't underestand why should be open 24/H for us . i have never been at any hotel close the parking door. and i would like if Burrard Inn has them website .
It is very convenient to be in the downtown core at a relatively cheap price
It is very old, and lacks decor
The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. Maid used to clean my room daily.
The carpets were not clean and I think the rooms need to be renovated.
The location was fantastic for the price-- Vancouver is an expensive town.. It suited our budget.
It was very run-down and badly needs refurbishment-- but if that happens the price will go up. It was OK as you couldn't get a much better location for seeing Vancouver. We were out all the time, so didn't spend much time in the room.
location and 7/11 right next door
we have never been in such a disgusting, smelly, dirty room in our whole life before. room # 201 had a disgusting old carpet you cannot walk barefoot on, the smell in the room was more than stuffy and the bed gave us both a bad back ache! you have the feeling germs and bacteria are all over the place! and the windows don't keep any noise outside from busy burrard street! we don't need luxury, but this is not acceptable!
Cheap and convenient location staff was friendly and it was worth the price paid
Centrally located, a piece of 1960s in central Vancourer - all of the the bathroom is pink including the bathtup, the sink and toilet!
The major disappointment is that contrary to claim on Booked.net there is no internet signal in the rooms. And, worse, the hotel staff totally washes its hands regarding this! Also, there is no desk and chair.
Easy access to parked vehicle, great location.
Lots of noise bouncing off the Sheraton on the Helmcken side. Letting in fresh air meant letting in the noise.
